General admission tickets include access to the Minster floor, Chapter House, Undercroft Museum and Crypt, as well as our guided tours
Book in advance for fast-track access on arrival
Tickets are valid for 12 months

York residents, University of York Students and York St. John Students

Admission is free of charge with proof of address (such as a council tax or utility bill) or a valid university ID

The Tower Challenge

Tower Trips are subject to availability and weather conditions
It is not always possible to book in advance. Please speak to a member of our team on the date of your visit for the most up to date information
You must be fit and healthy to climb, comfortable with heights and tight spaces, and trips are not suitable for children under the age of 8
Trips are also not suitable for those with breathing problems (including asthma), heart problems or high blood-pressure, or those who have had a recent surgery/illness or are pregnant.
